ARE THERE ANY RISKS AND SIDE EFFECTS OF HONEY?


OVERVIEW:
Honey is a very well-known natural sweetener that is used in the whole world by the people of every cast and every religion.  Its benefits are literally uncountable. It is used as a medicine as well as an ingredient in different dishes throughout the world.  Scientist from the early ages used to believe that honey is a worth having natural sweetener because of its amazing effects on health. Besides this, there are also few evidences that proves that honey has some side effects too.

WHY IS THIS RISKY TO ADD HONEY IN YOUR DIET?
Creamy honey is a kind of a processed honey which is especially made to avoid the phenomenon of crystallization that occurs in raw honey. There are few very serious side effects of honey that need to be addressed. They are discussed below.

Honey can be life threatening for the kids below 1 year:
Yea, there is a condition that we call intestinal botulism. There are some bacteria that tend to grow in the presence of spores and ultimately cause botulism in infant's intestines. This is a life-threatening condition. 

Honey can be poisonous!
Honey that has been made from the nectar of some specific species of flowers is poisonous for humans. The plant named Rhododendron are poisonous by nature. Even a small amount of honey which has been extracted from these flowers can be lethal for us.

Honey can cause the limbs paralysis:
Andromeda are the flowers whose honey can cause the limbs paralysis in humans. It has some special components that introduce this condition in humans. 

Allergic reactions by honey:
Either it is a raw honey or the creamed one, honey has the power to generate the allergic reaction in humans as well.  This can be because of the presence of bee-pollen or the other components. Severe allergic reactions can lead to asthamatic conditions. Wheezing, dizziness, vomiting, nausea are also commonly found signs of these allergic reactions

Honey can cause diahhorea:
Excessive usage of honey may also lead in increased motility of intestine which results into the occurrence of diahhorea.. Hence, this is very important to keep in mind that moderate quantity of honey should be added to the daily diet. 

Your pimples can be due to Honey:
Taking too much honey can be very risky because its nature is warm. Honey can be the cause of pimples on your face and blisters into your mouth. 

High sugar levels:
The processed creamy honey has a great amount of sugar into it which is very bad for your health. High consumption of unnatural honey can result in noticeable weight gain.  Diabetic patients can be at risk of hyperglycemia.
